Marcia L. Cairns
Marcia L. Cairns passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at home at The Ivy Assisted Living at Watertown, after a battle with dementia.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald G. Cairns, in 2011. Also predeceased by her parents, Eleanor B. Ritch and Harold A. Ritch, and her sister, Carol Ann Polverari. Marcia is survived by her 2 daughters, Cheryl Masi and her husband Bob and Bonnie Pfann and her husband Steve. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jenna Masi (Christian Kelley), Amy Masi White (Don White, Jr.), Stefanie Pfann (Alejandro Bello) and Eric Pfann (Krista Mecadon Pfann). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 5th, at 11:00 a.m. at the New Milford United Methodist Church. Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford is assisting the family with arrangements, for a full obituary, please visit https://lillisfuneralhome.wordpress.com

I had the extreme honor and pleasure of working with Marcia for many years at Northville. Her bright smile and easy manner always made it a joy to enter her library. She loved sharing books with the children of Northville and she was a frequent "guest reader" in my third grade classroom.
She was a lovely colleague.
