I have so many fond memories of Mr. Martens. He was a loving father and grandfather, devoted husband, respected teacher teacher and coach, and the role model for so many in our neighborhood. Go in peace, God be with you, be at rest. You will always be alive in the hearts of your family and friends. Love, Kathy Callan Anton

So many fond memories. Being best friends throughout our teenage years -- roommates at Syracuse University --- being honored to be asked to be his best man at his marriage to Helen. God bless him.
