Constance Bischoff Obituary

Constance A. 'Connie' (Brown) Bischoff, Age 70, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died Saturday night, April 26, 2025 at her home in Cedar Grove, surrounded by family, following a brave battle with cancer.

Connie was born in Batesville, Indiana on August 29, 1954 to Keith and Jeroma Brown. On July 9, 1977 she was married to Ken Bischoff. Together they had two beautiful, loving sons; Ryan and Adam.

Connie graduated from Franklin County High School in 1972 and went on to obtain her LPN license from Ivy Tech-Richmond in 1974. She worked as a nurse for a few years before staying home to take care of her boys. After they were grown, she went back to work as a nurse for a short time and then went on to work at the Franklin County Courthouse for several years, eventually becoming the Franklin County Recorder. After retirement, she went back to her nursing background and was doing private home health care. She truly enjoyed caring for others.

Connie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. Her smile could light up a room. She loved to be with her family and friends. She could often be seen hugging, dancing. laughing and enjoying life. Her greatest pride came from being with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to ALL of their events; sports, dancing, programs and anything else that they may be in involved in. She was the most devoted and loving 'Nana' to her grandchildren and mother to her children. She always had time for them, they brought her great joy. Whenever she would talk about them, she would beam with happiness. They truly meant everything to her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ken, her son's; Ryan (Vanessa) and Adam Bischoff, her most amazing and glorious grandchildren; Brooklyn, Addyson and Brantley Bischoff. Her mother, Jeroma Brown. Her siblings; Dennis (Mary Pat) Brown, Jeff (Lucy) Brown, Pam (Tom) Bachus, Grover (April) Brown, Kevin (Lynn) Brown, and Jon (Cathy) Brown. Her siblings by marriage; Leroy (Monica) Bischoff, Steve (Cheryl) Bischoff, Linda Girty, Cathy Graf, Pam McMillin, Brenda Bischoff, Cindy (Don) Westerfeld, Nancy (Kevin) Busse, Sharon Cumberworth, Paul Bischoff and Lisa Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Brown, her sister, Debby Brown, her Mother-in-law; Phyllis Bischoff, her siblings by marriage; Rick McMillin, Paul Girty, Rick (Dino) Bischoff, Jackie Bischoff and Lee Graf and her nephew; Joey Bachus.

Friends & family may visit from 4 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Holy Guardian Angel Oratory, 405 U.S. Highway 52, Cedar Grove, Indiana; where the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 P.M..

Rev. Vincent Lampert will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the Holy Guardian Angel Oratory, with burial following in Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery in Cedar Grove.
