CATAWISSA - Timothy "Tim" Gundlach, 68, of Catawissa, went to be with the Lord, Friday Nov. 8, 2024, at his residence.
Tim was born in Philadelphia, Aug. 1, 1956, a son of the late Charles and Katherine (Anderson) Gundlach.
Tim was a graduate of Roxborough High School, in Philadelphia.
He worked as a truck driver throughout most of his life.
He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Masonic Cedar Lodge 378, Mount Carmel Lions Club and a volunteer firefighter in Sanatoga.
Dad was the true definition of a hard worker. He dedicated his life to providing for his family and never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need. He was the backbone of our family - the one we all turned to for support and guidance. He did everything with a sense of passion and care that was felt by everyone around him.
An avid outdoorsman, Dad had a deep love for the outdoors, often finding peace and joy in the simplicity of nature. He was an animal lover with a big heart who shared his life with our beloved pets.
He cherished every moment with his family, especially in his role as Pop. He also adored his grand puppy, who brought him much happiness and comfort.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kelley (Marlow) Gundlach, whom he married, Sept. 17, 1983; three daughters, Kimberly Dawn DeNucci and her husband, Brian, of Centuria Wisconsin, Laura Katherine Gundlach, of Bloomsburg, and Kelley Ann Witmer and her husband, Daniel, of Newmanstown; two grandchildren, Kayla Nicole Campbell and Dylan Lee Witmer; two brothers, Charles Gundlach and his wife, Sherry, of Birdsboro, and William Gundlach, of Ulysses; a sister, Cynthia Savini, of Atco, New Jersey; many nieces and nephews; and Nicole and Joe Starr and their daughters, Ava and Emma, who called him "Poppie."
