Marilynn Christine Cullen 87 of LaSalle passed away peacefully at Allure Nursing Home in Peru on November 1st, A funeral mass will Thursday November 7th at 11AM at St. Hyacinth Church. Fr. Glen Harris will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Thursday from 10 until the time of mass. Marilynn was born on April 28, 1937 to Harold and Agnes (Miller) Schorn. She married Joseph "Joe" Cullen at Holy Family Church in Oglesby. She was employed for many years as telephone operator through Illinois Bell, working out of her home. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. She loved traveling across the country, and especially taking a trip to Ireland. She enjoyed watching birds, mostly cardinals. She was always up for putting a puzzle together. She loved being around with family and friends. She is survived by; one son; Michael Cullen of LaSalle, and a daughter; Kathy Cullen of Roseville, CA. three grandchildren; Cassie, Caitlin, and Matt. Six great-grandchildren; Abby, Bentley, Piper, Beckett, Rosalie, and, Noa. 2 brothers; Larry (Ann) Schorn, and Dale (Mary) Schorn. several nieces and nephews.
