Anna Rose Cascagne Iannotti
Anna Rose Iannotti of, North Haven (formerly of East Haven) passed away at her home on Friday, November 8, 2024. Anna was born in New Haven on January 3, 1930 to the late Salvatore and Antoinette Muffa Cascagne.
She was the wife of the late Frank Iannotti, Jr. and the mother of Lauretta Iannotti Giaimo (Joseph). Grandmother of Jennifer Giaimo Katz (Steven) and four great-grandchildren (Mia, Margo, Laurel, Jones). She was the aunt of her loving and caring niece, Annette Muzyka Pierpont.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Anthony Cascagne, Louis Cascagne, Frank (Archie) Cascagne and Jerry Cascagne and sisters Rose Zampano, Mary Perrella, Clem Nadeu, Raphaella Caeti, Josephine Muzyka and her favorite nephew, Ed Pierpont.
Special thanks to The Agency on Aging of South Central CT, Karyn Fryer at Nova Homecare, Dr. Lacka and her staff at Northeast Medical Geriatric Services and Connecticut Hospice for coordinating and providing her with excellent care over the past year. A special thank you to her caregiver, Dorothy, who provided her with impeccable care. And to her friends at Steven Woods Housing, thank you Carol Grasso, Marie Bundock and especially Kathy Boudreau who spent every afternoon visiting with her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Pompeii Church - St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, 355 Foxon Rd., East Haven on Wednesday, November 13th at 10:00 am. Burial immediately following mass at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Share a memory on Anna's Tribute page by visiting www.iovanne.com. My Godmother , what a wonderful lady , so many memories growing up ! You were either at our home or us at yours . Wasn´t hard to visit you were right across the street . Heaven gained a sweet lady .
