I'm glad that I was able to hire Cathy to work in several departments of the Howard Whittemore Library in Naugatuck. Cathy and I often had substantial conversations regarding each of our animal rescue organization experiences.

I've known Cathy since I was about 8 or 9 years old. Here is an early picture of the original "Orchard Road Gang" which grew over the years. We go back a long way- sleep overs, making forts in the woods, swimming at Sperry Falls, riding our bikes to the Blue Check....One special memory...the year " A Hard Days Night " came out; Cathy, Jen and I got to go see it for Cathy's Birthday party and we sat through it twice.
Danny I always thought you two would end up together..so very happy you did...and so very sorry your time was cut short. The picture you chose above is how I always will remember Cathy - that great smile with a little mischief in it and her love of fair isle sweaters. She always had the prettiest sweaters. Heaven has a new angel!

When I was the Library Director, I hired Cathy VanEpps to work in the Children's Department, and during future years in the Adult Circulation Department and the Reference Department of the Howard Whittemore Library in Naugatuck, CT. Cathy and I had many enjoyable connections/conversations, especially regarding our mutual love for dogs. - Jocelyn Miller

My sincerest condolences to you and your family at this time. I worked with Cathy at the library, and everytime we met, she was always so cheerful and a pleasure to talk to. I wish you and your family peace and comfort. Dottie Bedan
