James Miller Obituary
He was born on December 12, 1958 in Washington, DC to the late Albert L. Miller and Louise M. Miller. Jim was a retired Cement Mason and Apprenticeship Director with the Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons' International Association (OPCMIA) Local 891. He started with the Union in 1978 as a young man straight out of high school.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Pete, and John; sister Brenda Dilsaver.
Jim is survived by his wife Marian; son Joshua Miller (Erin) of Shadyside, MD; brother Joseph Miller (Barbara); sisters-in-law Peggy Miller and Sherri Miller.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 beginning at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made to American Diabetes Association, Washington DC-MD Office, 1025 Connecticut Avenue, NW - Suite 1005, Washington, DC 20036-4104.
