J. Carol Legge Obituary

J. Carol Dick Legge, 84, of Cross Junction, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her home in Cross Junction.

Mrs. Legge was born in Winchester, VA, on June 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Charles Moses and Juanita Eula McDonald Dick. Mrs. Legge retired from the U.S. Postal Service where she worked as a carrier and was a member of the Strasburg Women of the Moose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons and a brother, Richard "Dickie" Dick.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Elwood Legge of Cross Junction; her children, Tammy Keeler of Middletown, VA, Brian Legge of White Post, VA, and Julie Legge of Cross Junction, VA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Legge will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home with Pastor Bill McHenry officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Middletown, VA.

Pallbearers will be Gary Legge, Bruce Legge, Mark Legge, Eric Legge, Jeff Wallace, Ross Holtzman, and Todd Legge.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
