Evelia Valdez Obituary

Evelia Valdez, 98, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Monday, August 4, 2025 in Erwin, Tennessee.

Evelia was born on May 9, 1927 in Mexico to Inocente Gonzalez & Dorotea Castiilo.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Juan Valdez.

Evelia leaves behind her loving family to cherish her beautiful memory, her children, Juan Valdez, Elviira Valdez, Rolando Valdez, Yolanda Valdez, & Blanca Rojas; sister, Virginia Gonzalez, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Evelia will be dearly missed by all of her family & friends,

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.

A funeral procession will depart Trinity Funeral Chapel at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 for a 1:00 p.m.Mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria, Texas at 2:00 p.m.
