Brian Michael Lesar of Centennial, Colorado, formerly of Whiting/Robertsdale, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne (Jeanette) Lesar; and father, Joseph S. Lesar; along with both of his sisters, Jeanne (Bruce) Shimala and Joyce Geber Lesar (Joe); and big brother-in-law, Bruce S. Shimala (Jeanne). He is survived by his brother, Tommy (Kelly) Lesar; and one brother-in-law, Mr. Joseph Geber. Nieces, Angie, Carrie, Amanda and Laurie. Nephews, Jimmy, Mark, Brandon, Kyle and Luke. Many great-nieces and great-nephews. Brian was a graduate (1968) of St. John the Baptist Catholic grade school in Whiting, IN, and a (1972) graduate of Hammond George Rogers Clark H.S. in Robertsdale. Brian worked at several industrial job roles with several companies in the Calumet region, Federated Metals, Inland Steel, American Can, American Maize (Amaizo), Amoco Oil (Whiting refinery), then re-located and successfully transitioned into the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, where he worked over 20 years in Raleigh, NC, and Denver, CO. In the past five years, Brian successfully passed the Colorado State Stationary Engineer licensing program. Following that he began working as a stationary engineer on a U.S. Air Force base in Colorado. Brian was an avid sports fan, die-hard Cubs/Bears fan. In his teen years he loved playing baseball where he played for American Legion Post 80 as a submariner pitcher. He loved having very nice cars though unfortunately many of them were stolen. An avid dog lover. Brian's final flight was into the airy Rocky Mountains in the Denver area where he rests in peace.
