Clyde Marler Obituary
Clyde was first and foremost a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was known to be an outdoorsman with a love of hunting and fishing. Clyde loved to work and had a reputation of being a very hard worker. He loved to travel and learn history, watch old westerns and cook for large groups of people. He was also a big fan of the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. Clyde will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Pauline Marler; and sisters: Patsy Woods and Barbara Marler.
Clyde is survived by his wife: Janet Marler of Kermit, TX; sons: Brett Marler of Liberty Hills, TX; Colby Marler and wife Sarah of Midland, TX; sisters: Rosemary Churchwell and husband James of Midland, TX, "Twinkle" Leftwich Marler of Odessa, TX; grandchildren: Katelyn, Ashley, Audrey, Brody; and great-grandchild: Hunter
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Kermit, TX; officiated by Dudley Mullins.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to First Baptist Church of Kermit 400 E. Bryan Kermit, TX 79745
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor and condolences may be sent to the family at www.fs-fp.com.

Condolences to the family. Clyde and I both attended and graduated from MHS 1966. May he rest in peace. I remember him as a sweet funny guy. God bless the family as he blessed them with Clyde for so many years and gone way too soon.
