Steve Kail Obituary
Steve Russell Kail, age 68, passed away on September 26, 2024, at MyMichigan Health in Midland, Michigan. He was born on January 31, 1956, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to Ronald and Elizabeth (Johnson) Kail.
Steve grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault High School. He then attended Ferris State College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in general Printing Management. Steve worked at McKay Press Incorporated, in Midland, as a Printing Estimator.
Steve had a variety of interests in photography, fountain pen collection, and watching old game shows. He was enthusiastic about trains and science fiction. Steve loved animals and advocated to protect them. He liked to go snowmobiling in the winter and bike ride in the summer months.
Steve is survived by his friends, Ron and Linda Siebenbrodt and several other close friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Elizabeth; aunt, Ruth Nylund.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Family Life Funeral Homes, 4951 S. M-129, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, from 10:30 AM to 11:00AM. Funeral service at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at the Oaklawn Chapel Gardens, 15264 M-129, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

I took care of Steve's hair care needs for the past few years, he was truly an interesting person and I will miss our conversations. He always took so much joy in showing me all of his pens and telling me about each one as he would have me write with each one. I will cherish that memory of him.
