David Hickey Obituary

David Hickey, 69, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8th, after a month-long battle with kidney disease. David leaves behind his loving fiancée, Adele Audet, his siblings, Anne Perry, Ed Hickey, Dairne Mackler, Peter Hickey and many nieces and nephews. David was a beloved teacher at Wilbur Cross HS and worked in the Connecticut school system for the past 24 years. David's passion was to teach life skills to his students preparing them for the real world. Dave was an avid nature lover and raised turtles from babies to football size.
A Celebration of Life will be held over St. Patrick's Weekend in Bronxville, NY.
