Frances Feist Obituary

On December 12th of 2023 Frances Yvonne Brown (Wells, Cole, Feist) was called home to be with the Lord and Savior. She was surrounded by family as she crossed over.

Yvonne was born in Fairfield, Texas April 28, 1935 where her great-grandfather, Tolbert Fannin Young, MD founded the nearby town of Young, Texas. She moved to Pearland in 1969 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a lifetime Lions Club member and devoted member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Joe Brown (Janet); daughter, Diane Wells O'Neall Holliday (Gene); and granddaughter, Sarah O'Neall (fiancé Paul Talley); stepson, Raymond Feist and his children, McKenzie and Christian; stepdaughter, Jennifer Feist and her daughter, Aubrie Park; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Irene Powell and JW Brown; her sister, LaWanda Brown (Worthen) in 1970; her grandson, Cameron O'Neall in 2020; and her aunts, Frances Powell (Adams) and Mary Lynn Powell (Welch).

The Celebration of Life was held Thursday, December 21, at Peevey Funeral Home.
