Martha Bogdan Obituary

Our family wishes to announce the passing of Martha Bogdan, who left us peacefully on Tuesday. October 29, 2024, at the age of 90. Martha was born on January 31, 1934, to Robert H. Bisbee and Mary Hollingsworth Bisbee.

Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She married Frederick Bogdan on September 10, 1955, and they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage.

Prior to her life in Port Charlotte, Florida, Martha was a lifelong resident of Hamilton, New Jersey. Following her studies at St. Vincent Nursing School in NYC, she dedicated her professional life to healthcare as a registered nurse.

Martha is predeceased by her sons Tom and Jim. She is survived by her husband Fred, children Cheri and Sue, son-in-law Gary, grandsons Justin and Evan, their spouses Jaimie and Chelsea, and 3 great- grandchildren James Francis, Delilah and Lorelai.

For Port Charlotte friends, a visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14 between the hours of 1pm and 3pm at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. You can also visit www.kayspongerpc.com to share a memory and extend condolences to the family.
