Mary Burge Obituary

Mary Ann Burge "Little One" 61, of Hobart IN and Smithton Pa. passed on September 27, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born March 1, 1962 in Gary , IN, the daughter of the late Angelina (Stover) Ihnat and Charles Stover, Jr. Mary was an avid gardener, loved working with her husband Donnie on remodeling projects, helping others, and was the number one scrabble player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Eugene Burge, Jr, a granddaughter Allison Ingram, sister Linda Stover, niece Leslie Garcia, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. She is survived by her children Malinda (nee Burge) Osteen ( Kevin Hoobyar) of New Chicago, IN., Malissa (nee Burge) Ingram of Hobart , IN, Maria Burge ( Matt Strack) of Bellevue, NB, Christina (nee Burge) Squires ( Danny) of Hobart, IN; grandchildren Gabrielle (nee Osteen) Espinoza ( Michael ) of Portage , IN, Audrey Burge of Smithton, Pa, Lorenzo Squires of Hobart, IN, Brea Ingram of Hobart, IN,; and a great grandson Ario Espinoza of Portage, IN. Mary is also survived by her siblings Susan( nee Stover) Westerhout ( Jeff) , Angelina ( nee Stover) Dyniewski ( Steve), Cecilia Stover, Richard Stover ( Teresa Smith) ; and her stepfather Bill Ihnat. A Celebration of Life for Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Burge, Jr. will be held on October 8, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 540 South Indiana St. Hobart , IN 46342.
