Warren Henderson Obituary

WARREN DOUGLAS (DOUG) HENDERSON, age 84, passed away October 19,2023 at Gary Methodist Hospital. Doug was born December 21, 1938, in Gary Indiana to Charles and Alice Mae Henderson. He attended Roosevelt High School in Gary Indiana. Warren married Camille Gholeston and to this union, four children were born. Warren retired from Gary U.S Steel in 1998. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Alice Henderson, his loving wife Camille Henderson, brother Charles Henderson, sisters Gladys Wise and Geraldine Goodes and grandson Jeremy Stingley. He leaves cherished to his memory, daughters Jamille (Tracey) Daniel, Lori (Gene) Stingley, Chantelle Henderson, and son Warren Douglas (Kim) Henderson II, grandchildren Christopher Henderson, Erren Henderson, Darryl McKinney II, Tifynnie Miller, Mia Stingley, April Viverette, Lauryn Henderson, Justin Henderson, Camille Henderson, Jordan Polk and Amiya Daniel, sister Jeanette Love, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends especially his family/friends from Hovey Street. Visitation Monday, October 30, 2023, from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00a.m. with family hour from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
