Dennis Campney Obituary
July 4, 1951 - September 10, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce Denny's passing on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was the second son born to the late Oscar and Myrtle (Jay) Campney. He was a devoted husband, a loving son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched the lives of everyone he knew with his warm spirit and remarkable sense of humor.
Denny was predeceased by his sisters, Sandra Washburn and her husband, Ken, Norma Campney, Barbara Pincheon; and his brother, Barry Campney and wife, Tena. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his sister, Gloria Duprey and husband, Don; brother, James Campney; his children, Colby Campney and Heather Serafi; grandchildren, Bryce, Charlotte, Shawna, Nathan, Kaylee; and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Jayden, Skye, Allison, and Liam; and several nieces and nephews. He considered all his children to be his greatest gift and never stopped bragging about them.
A celebration of Denny's life will be held at the Queensbury VFW 32 Luzerne Rd, Queensbury, N.Y. 12804 on Sunday, November 3rd, from 1 to 4 p.m. Please consider joining us to celebrate his legacy of love and laughter with all who knew him.

I have many fond memories of Denny. He dated my mom back in the late 80s and our families lived together. Even after he no longer dated my mom, I was always at his house to hang out with Colby. He was always caring and ready to tell a great joke. He was an amazing musician and loved to share his music. He will be missed. To Colby and Heather my deepest condolences on your loss. My heart hurts for you both.
