My sincere condolences to Jack's wife and family. Jack and I were together from our 1st day at the academy, where we would drive home together on our weekends off. We then went to Dunmore and served at Honesdale station for 3 yrs. We both transferred to Hazleton, where Jack served at Fern Ridge station, while I served at Hazleton. I last saw Jack at the Laurel Mall 2 yrs ago. I had no idea that he was not well. I am really shocked and surprised by his passing. It is with deep regret that I will be unable to attend his service. I will always cherish Jack's memory and the times we served together.
