Pauline Muntzer Obituary

Pauline Linda Muntzer
September 13, 1953 - January 30, 2021
Pauline Muntzer-Boyce 1953 - 2021.
A beautiful English rose!
Intelligent, witty, a super friend, mother, grandmother, and wife.
She was educated at St. Catherine's School in the UK and the London School of Economics.
In 1978 she married and moved from England to California, returning there after a brief spell in Colorado.
She started horse riding at an early age, which she knew then would become her life's passion. It was while riding that she felt most free of the cares of the world. With her ready wit, she was popular in any equine, social, or business setting. Her wit no doubt came down to her from her father and his grandfather, Dan Leno, the famous Victorian vaudeville comic.
She loved to sing and had the uncommon ability to recite whole verses from memory.
Although she always had a horse and a cat, she had a genuine love for all animals. She could not allow a dog to go by her front garden without making a big fuss over it, to the delight of the dog owner.
At home, she delighted in cooking meals to perfection, for two, or for a gathering.
She would find refuge in the garden, growing flowers and vegetables. Such an artist, when flower colors collided, she would ask her husband to dig them up and move them.
A lifelong knitter, she custom designed and knitted children's sweaters under Gray Sky Woolens, her favorite color.
She developed a strong loving bond with her grandson, Greyson, who maintains warm memories of her.
Above all, she dearly loved her family, especially her daughter, Heather.
A radiant light has come and gone, but not before being passed on into those she chose to be close to her.
