Dirk Muits Obituary
Dirk Muits, Jr., 88, of Ventnor, passed away in the Veterans Wing of the Meadowview Nursing Home in Northfield, on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born August 7, 1937 in Atlantic City Hospital, he lived all his life in Ventnor. He graduated from AC High School and worked for UPS and Jaydor until retirement in 2011. He was also an Air Force Veteran. In his free time, Dirk enjoyed woodworking, primarily making children's furniture. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Albright Muits; son, Dirk III; brother, John (Ann) Muits; grandsons, Michael and Matthew; sisters-in-law, Doris (Richard) Havens and Jane (Joe) Granato. He is predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth (nee Purcell) and Dirk, Sr.; and in-laws Marjorie and Earl Albright. Memorial contributions can be made in Dirk's memory to the charity of your choice or the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. service at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.
