Linda Baun-Kidd Obituary

Linda L. Baun-Kidd, 67, of Home, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024.
She was born June 7, 1956, to Merle and Sally (White) Sprankle in Punxsutawney.
Linda was a 1974 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. She worked as a mail carrier for over 37 years before her retirement in 2019. Linda enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, her yearly beach vacations and spending time with family. Her greatest joy was spending time and playing with her grandson.
Linda is survived by her husband, whom she married Sept. 8, 2015, Joseph A. Kidd, of Home; a son, Shane L. Baun and wife Somer; a grandson, Owen A. Baun; her mother, Sally M. Sprankle; a sister, Debra L. Bishop and husband Ron; sister-in-law Melissa J. Sprankle and husband Butch, all of Punxsutawney; four sisters-in-law on her husband's side, Georgia Ann Cocco, Diane Basick, Linda Kidd and Valerie Kidd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Douglas L. Sprankle.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at the McCabe Funeral Home, 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Rev. Janet Chiplis officiating. 
Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Rossiter.
