Patricia Lee Hanson, 90 of Bettendorf, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at Senior Star Elmore Place.

A Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday May 14th at Halligan-McCabe-Devries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., Davenport. A prayer service will be held at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport.

Patricia "Patty" was born in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Anselm and Evelyn Ruhl. She married David Bingham Hanson January 11, 2001.

She worked at Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric company for over 30 years as an executive secretary.

Patty enjoyed traveling, especially aboard cruise ships, most notably a six-month around-the-world cruise. She loved dogs and was preceded in death by her beloved golden retriever, Rocky. She also enjoyed a weekly cocktail hour in her Bettendorf subdivision, as well as spending time by the pool in the sun with friends and neighbors.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, David; her sister, Colleen Ryan; and her brother, Gary (Alene) Ruhl.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Karen (Jeffrey) Perme (Ruhl); and her brother-in-law, Donald "Terry" Ryan. Patty is also survived by four nieces, Tracy Kramer, Jodi (Rod) Bender, Kerry (Jeremy) Marquette, and Kelly Jackson; two nephews, Scott (Maria) Perme and Dr. Aaron (Jacky) Perme; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
