James "Jim" Leo Nichols

November 14, 1952 - December 22, 2024

James "Jim" Leo Nichols, 72 of Keokuk, IA, formerly of Davenport, IA passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024.

He was born November 14, 1952 in Davenport, IA the son of James William and Jeannine Crawford Nichols. He graduated from West High School in Davenport with the class of 1971.

Jim loved the game of Chess and had won trophies from several Chess clubs through the years. Jim also loved baseball, muscle cars and playing board games.

He is survived by two sisters, Debra Hansen and Rhonda Nichols both of Davenport, IA. He is also survived by one niece, Stacey and one nephew, Colby and eleven cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim struggled with Schizophrenia since the age of thirty. He's at peace now with his parents in heaven.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
