Janice Kay Kaucher

April 21, 1947 - September 29, 2024

Funeral services for Janice Kay Kaucher, 77, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. on Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Janice passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her home in Davenport.

Janice K. Greenwood was born on April 21, 1947, in Davenport, the daughter of Earl and Gertrude (Bonney) Greenwood. She married George "Fritz" Kaucher on October 18, 1967, in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2017.

Janice enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, taking walks and spending time with her children, grandchildren and her furry friends, Stumpy, Stella, Rocky, Gunner and Prince.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tamara and Michael Guilliams and Tina and Timothy Jr. Hildebrant, all of Davenport; her grandchildren, Amanda Tyler and her husband Steven, Andrew Dunkin, Brittany Gravert and her husband Jacob, Brooke Hildebrant; her great-grandchildren, Makenzie Behrendt, Madison Behrendt, Holden Dunkin, Jayden Gravert; a sister, Alice Miller of Davenport and brother, Bobby Blaise of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Lisa; sisters, Carol Moore, Evelyn Chapman, Ruth Rodebush; and brother, James Greenwood.
