Michael Royce Obituary
He was born on October 6, 1955 in Beloit, WI, the son of Douglas and Harrette (Dunn) Royce. Mike was a 1973 South Beloit High School graduate. He married Roda Scott on July 19, 1980 in Rockton United Methodist Church.
Mike was formerly employed by North Wind until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of North West Territorial Alliance (NWTA). Mike enjoyed playing war games and was a History Buff. He was a diehard Green Bay Packer fan. Mike and Roda loved to travel and he was always up for a good laugh. He was a big teddy bear at heart. Mike was very proud of his Norwegian and Irish heritage.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Roda Royce of Beloit, WI; son, Douglas (Ashley Meyer) Royce of Cedar Rapids, IA; mother, Harrette Royce; brother, Patrick Royce of Beloit, WI; sister, Lisa (Todd Kidd) Royce of South Carolina; and special friend, Terry Mayne.
Mike was predeceased by his father, Doug; sister, Dawn Royce; brother, Kelvin Royce; and nephew, Deven Royce.
Per Michael's wishes, no services will be held.
