Jose A. Rodriguez, 76, of Hartford, CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. Jose was born in San Sebastian, PR and was the son of the late Jose Rodriguez Guivas and Rosa Hernandez Rodriguez. He was a very loved husband, father, grandfather and son.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife Emilia Valentin and his children Carmen Rodriguez, Eusebia Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Eileen Rodriguez and Rosa Rodriguez. In addition to his very beloved grandchildren Alyssa Rodriguez, Nya Rodriguez, Alex Garay, Jaivon Harley, Mariah Rivera, Brandon Garay, Natiana Rodriguez, Xavier Rodriguez, Julian Baez and Lionel Molina. He is also survived by his siblings Ana Maria Rodriguez, Anibal Rodriguez, Candida Rodriguez, Israel Rodriguez and Haydee Rodriguez. Lastly, he is also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins. Jose was predeceased in his death by both parents and his siblings: Gloria Rodriguez, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez, Wilfredo Rodriguez, Eneida Rodriguez and Elba Iris Rodriguez.
Funeral service for Jose will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 12pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Mt.
