Vera Smith Obituary
She was born in Atlanta, GA on Feb. 9, 1963 to Mitchell and Marcelle Simmons, and was the youngest of 6 siblings.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Marcelle Simmons, and her brother Mickey Simmons. She is survived by her siblings, Charles (Margaret) Simmons, Valerie Newsome, Vicki (Ted) Cochran, Vanessa (Jeff) Jackson, her children's father, Daniel Smith, her son, Thomas (Rebecca) Smith, her daughter, Stacy (Brandon) Cheek, grandchildren, Drake Whitley, Abigale Whitley, Macy Whitley, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Vera's Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 3-6pm at River Walk Farm Clubhouse, 16 River Walk Farm Pkwy, Covington, GA 30014.

I will always remember that smile. Vera was a very sweet lady and I enjoyed what little we did talk at family get togethers. She was (is) an amazing lady who will be missed by all. I love and miss you Vera.
