I just learned of Larry's passing today (Aug 14). His dad and I grew up together on the 400 block of Cedar Street in Jenkintown. Although I only met young Larry a couple of times, I was quite impressed with his demeanor
and genuine personality. I know his dad was very proud of both his sons. I extend my condolences to his family.

Very sorry to hear about Larry’s passing. I haven’t seen Larry since 1985 when he was a Jr and I a Sr on the LaSalle football team. Larry always had a smile and a good sense of humor. He was a guy people just liked instantly. We would often banter on the bench. ;) Prayers and warm wishes for his family.

We are so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. I knew Larry from our grade school days and we reconnected when our boys were at LaSalle together. He had that same friendly smile and was always so welcoming to us. Sending peace and prayers to Mary Ellen, Brennan, Sean, Gavin and Grace. May Larry rest in peace and may your memories of his love for all of you help you in the days ahead. With deepest sympathies, Eric & Gina Tatlonghari and Family

I am so sorry to hear about this. I was fortunate to have gotten to know Larry through banking and also played golf with him. He was such a nice guy and he will be deeply missed.

Well done good and faithful servant. You have fought the good fight . You have finished the race. You have kept the faith.
We have all witnessed the quiet, struggles you have had to endure and yet there you were...for Christmas parties, races at the Mount for Grace and what I'll remember most, the get-together in Ocean City...just weeks ago and how you perceived as if nothing was wrong! Mary Ellen, Brennan, Sean, Gavin and Grace...you will all be in our prayers.

I met Larry at Fairfield University in the Fall of 1986. Back then I had no way to realize that our friendship would last all these years. But Larry was so funny and loyal that it was easy to be his friend. Watching an Eagles/Giants game will not be the same. Mary Ellen, Brennan, Sean, Gavin, Grace, and Brian, I know nothing written or said now can ease the pain of losing your husband, father, and brother. I just hope that over time you can appreciate how many people respected and loved him. Rest in peace Larry.

Larry made us feel like family when our sons enrolled at LaSalle. Even though we had just met, I will never forget how kind and welcoming he was immediately. The world needs more Larry Dalys. May the Daly family find peace and happiness by remembering all the great things about Larry that made them smile, and know that he is smiling down on you forever.
