Richard Holeck Obituary

Richard P. Holeck, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 47. Born in Rome on June 2, 1977, he was a son of David Holeck and Susan Leskovar. On December 22, 2000, he was united in marriage to his forever love, Michele Casterella. Together they shared an unbreakable bond.

Richard worked 22 years at LCS Janitorial and Supply, Inc. and was currently the Vice President of Operations. He was a dedicated employee and very hard worker.

Whenever he wasn't at work, Richard was home with his family. He was a devoted family man, loving husband and cherished father. He enjoyed working around the house and was known for putting up a wonderful Christmas light display.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Michele, are two sons, David (Alexandria) and Christian Holeck; his parents, David and Susan; two sisters, his twin, Angela Westcott (Steven), and Amy Holeck; a brother, David Holeck, Jr.; mother-in-law, Robin Foley (Mark); two brothers-in-law, Dale Casterella (Jennifer) and Michael Hawkes; sister-in-law, Katrina Parkhurst; his grandfather, Richard Leskovar; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Phyllis and Paul Holeck and Betty Leskovar; and his beloved dog, Elvis.

Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440, on Monday, December 23rd, from 2-4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.
