Seattle, Washington - Anne W. Batchelor, 95, of Seattle, WA, passed away on October 15, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1928. Anne was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Susan Batchelor of Seattle, WA., her sister Marilyn Ladd of Sutter, CA, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and more than 70 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dick Batchelor, in 2014. Anne also mourned the loss of her first son Clyde Tyler in 2014, her second son Robert Tyler in 2017, and her daughter Sandra Ann Batchelor Heryford in 2020.

From 1959 to 1982, Anne worked for A.T. & T. in Sacramento as an accountant clerk. She was a lifetime member of the Pioneers, retired employees who volunteered. She volunteered at a food bank and other places as needed. After retirement she managed an American Legion Post. In addition to her work, she was a constant volunteer for the Post. She became President of the Women's Auxiliary.

Anne loved sports whether it be the Raiders, A's, or Kings, she was a dedicated fan. However, she was especially a fan of the Del Oro High School Eagles. She was in the stands at many games to watch two of her grandsons play football.

A memorial service to celebrate Anne's life will be held on Monday, November 20 at 1 p.m. at East Lawn Cemetery, located at 5757 Greenback Lane in Sacramento, CA.
