Linda shared her expertise, compassion and stories with incarcerated women participated in the MATCH program at Bexar County Jail. She made a difference for many women, and I greatly appreciated her friendship and mentorship. Condolences to her family and community.

My condolences to her family. I knew Linda through a social work supervision group. We were very different and we didn't try to change each other. There is beauty in acceptance.

My sincere condolences to Linda's family and other friends. I first met Linda in 2018 when I was elected branch chair for the National Association of Social Workers' (NASW) here in San Antonio. Linda was active, caring, super helpful and a joy to work with. She will be sorely missed in this life, but I know she will continue to progress to better things in her next one!

Linda was an excellent teacher of meditation, just when I needed it. She touched many lives, including my own.

In the 7 years I knew Linda, we had many adventures and shared experiences, from co-teaching workshops, to joining a walking group, to doing Qi Gong in the park during the Pandemic. Most recently, we were Rally/March buddies. I had to yell extra loud 10/18 in her honor! I miss you, my friend

One of our favorite foods to eat was mussels with French fries. These mussels were plucked right from the Tómales Bay in Marín county.
We went back to my apt in SF. Mom made French fries from scratch (how I learned you´re supposed to soak potatoes before frying) we cooked these mussels in white wine and herbs. We both would comment years later how no other mussel could complete with these!
