Ebony Ward Obituary
Services for Ebony Shanta Ward, 41, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17. 2025, at the funeral home.
Ebony was born on January 17, 1983, in Marshall, Texas to Joan Ward and Alvin Cato and passed away on January 13, 2025, in Longview, Texas.
She was full of life and was seriously goofy. She loved her nieces and nephews with all her heart. She attended Marshall Public School District and worked in the food service industry until she fell ill.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Ward; father, Alvin Cato and her baby brother, Adrian “AA” Ward.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Paul Ward of Longview, Tx, Erik Ward of Marshall, Tx, Cornelia Clough of Austin, Tx, Alvin and Johnny Cato of Dallas, Tx, Kevin Carroway, Kenny Allen and Tamara McFarland all of Marshall, Tx and Demetrius Pratt of Longview, Tx along with an abundance of other family and friends.
