I was notified, today, of very sad news that Gini has passed. I worked with her for 25 years at Graycor. She was tough, dedicated, knew how to get things done, but also had time for fun. She was the best. If you needed a sweet treat you would find one on her desk. If you needed a friend she was always available. Any clown I found would go right to her collection. She will be missed.

As Tony's daughter, Gini was special. I never felt like her employer. More like an uncle. You'd need to know and have worked with Tony to understand. She was always there, a lot like her father. And after 50 years, a bit set in her ways. But always there. For me, it goes back to the 1940s when Tony came to work on South Chicago Avenue. Rest in peace dear girl.

Ms. Gini was such a GREAT Lady. When I was in the OBT office I could never arrive before her, I think she slept there. Rest In Peace Ms. Gini.

Aunt Gini was a special person and will be greatly missed. In my 56 years of life I can honestly say I never saw her angry or in a bad mood. She was always trying to make people laugh. Her love of clowns came through in her personality. Although she never wore clown makeup her animation and enthusiasm in life was always on point to make people smile. Love you Aunt Gin say Hi to Grandma and Grandpa and please give my Mom and Dad a big hug. #sendintheclowns

Awe Gini, what a great soul! I remember the first time I walked into her Graycor office and thought this woman must be ok (judging by her Rolling Stones Goats Head Soup album). I’ll admit her clown obsession scared me. R.I.P. my friend!
