Columbus, Georgia - Joann Woods, 79, of Columbus passed on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Muscogee Manor Nursing Home. Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Green Acres Cemetery. Rev. Donald Woods will be officiating according to the Charles E. Huff's International Funeral Home, Inc. Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the funeral home located at 927-5th Avenue, Columbus.
Joann Woods was born on May 30, 1945 to the late Mr. Will Zeter Glover, Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Evans Glover in Columbus, GA. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and worked as a cook for the Muscogee County School District.
She leaves to cherish her many memories one daughter, Joanna Parker (Roy); three sons, Thadeus Eugene Woods, Marcus L. (Erica) Woods and Vandarren (Malanka Long) Woods; one sister, Myrtis Glover all of Columbus; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace sweet Joann. My deepest condolences to the family. Joann was a very strong woman and always very kind to me. I have fond memories of visiting her, she was precious and I know she will be greatly missed, I´m thankful to have known her. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel.
