Richard Hengel Obituary
Richard Clarence Hengel, 78 of Minnesota City, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Richard was born May 16, 1946 in Winona to Francis and Margaret (Klinger) Hengel. He served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Ada Laurina Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Ada; daughters, Lauri Roach, Cyndi (Brian) Wehlage and Carla Hengel; grandchildren, Britt, Shelby (Jeremy), Tre, Noah, Jacob & Nathan; great-grandchildren, Zeke, Luna, Cameron, Zayn & Ellori; sister, Randi (Bill) Reinarts; brother-in-law, Ron Wenzel; and nephew, Jay Wenzel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fran and Marty; sister, Karrol Wenzel and nephew, Chad Wenzel.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. Hoff Celebration of Life Center – Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements. www.hofffuneral.com.
