Terri Jo Kriskovsky, age 75, a resident of Spooner, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at her home.
Terri was born February 6, 1949, in Gary, IN, to Don and Donna Reid. She lived in Koontz Lake, IN, until moving to Spooner in the 1970s. Terri loved lake life and living on the lake, where she could swim, fish and go boating. While living in the Spooner area, she worked at Trego Junction in Trego, later at the Spooner Golf Course and finally bartending at the Wobbling Duck for nearly 20 years. Terri was a cornerstone at the Wobbling Duck, welcoming everyone with a joke and a smile, and worked there until the time of her death. It was her home away from home. Terri and her past husband opened T + T Tool of Spooner. Terri enjoyed her cats, sewing, feeding all the animals in her yard, especially her pet friend "Jane Doe." Terri loved her Saturday trips to the farmers market with her friend Ken. She always enjoyed visiting with her cabin friends who stopped in to see her every year.
Terri leaves behind her younger sister, Janie Wharton of IN, and her special friend Cliff.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents and older sister, Gail.
A celebration of life will be held after the holidays at the Wobbling Duck Saloon. If you can't make it, we will miss you … In Terri's words, "Shut the Duck up,"
