Thomas Basalla Obituary
Tom is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia, and his son, T.J. (Karen), of Macedonia. He is also survived by his sister, Andrea Chay (Jim), of Seattle.
Tom grew up in Brooklyn, Ohio, the son of the late Andrew and Natalie (Tomeczko) Basalla. He was one of 21 cousins in a large and close-knit extended family.
The Basalla family is deeply grateful for the many who offered care and companionship throughout Tom's final years. Special thanks go to the staff at Cardinal Court in Strongsville and Suncrest Hospice for their compassionate care, and to cousins Chuck Juda and Dr. Bob Basalla for their faithful visits-reflecting the love and closeness shared across the entire Basalla family.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Hts, 44130. A Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 28, also at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cardinal Court, 18179 Drake Road, Strongsville, OH 44136.

I knew the Basalla and Judah families from both St. Ignatius grade school and St. Ignatius High School in the 60´s and early 70´.
