Carol Seegers Obituary

Carol Jean Seegers, 86, of Elkhart, formerly of Bremen, passed away at 8:50 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 in Brickyard Nursing Home of Elkhart. Carol was born on March 23, 1938 in Des Plains, IL to the late Arthur and Mildred (Junge) Hagen. On Sept. 2, 1959, she married Paul Seegers. Carol is survived by one son, Warren (Penny) Seegers; four grandchildren, Jory Seegers, Gwenivere Seegers, Coy (Joey) Seegers and Zane Seegers. She is also survived by two siblings, Donna Klar and John (Suzanne) Seegers. Carol graduated from Bremen High School. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was an avid Cubs, Colts, ND and Bremen Lions fan. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11, 2024 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Friday in the church. Rev. Niel Wonnacott will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to www.mishawakatrooptown.org.
