Raymond Clifford LeVan

July 16, 1932 - October 31, 2024

Raymond Clifford LeVan, 92, of Hiddenite, passed away on October 31, 2024, at Jurney's Assisted Living in Statesville following an extended illness. Clifford was born in Iredell Co. on July 16, 1932, to the late, Ralph LeVan and Stella Mae Martin LeVan. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired business owner and a man of many traits auctioneer, real estate broker, beagle field trial judge, farmer, and a barber. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dorries Ramsey LeVan; eight brothers, Tom LeVan, Wayne LeVan, Troy LeVan, Craig LeVan, Wade LeVan, Ira Lee LeVan, Parks "Buddy" LeVan, Halbert LeVan; and two sisters, Lucille Brittain and Betty Johnson.

Survivors include one son, Raymond LeVan Jr.; and wife, Suzanne, of Valdese'; two daughters, Lindsay Lippard and husband, Richard, of Troutman and Ginger LeVan-Houston and husband, Paul, of Statesville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 848 Pisgah Church Rd., Stony Point, NC, 28678, with full military honors. Pastor Brian Douthit will officiate. There will be no formal visitation.
