LINDA ANN "WEDGE" HOLTE ST. JAMES - A Public Graveside Service for Linda Ann "Wedge" Holte, 71, of Lawton, Okla., and formerly of St. James, will be 1 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Mount Hope Cemetery in St. James. Linda was called to her eternal rest on Thursday afternoon, October 17, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. Linda Ann Wedge, the daughter of Everett and Minora (Olson) Wedge, was born on August 8, 1953, in St. James. She attended and later graduated from St. James High School with the class of 1971. Linda then attended Jackson Vocational School. She was employed for Human Services in Jackson as a translator. Linda met Keith Holte and later they were married and they lived in Florida and Lawton. She was employed for Cameron University in administration for many years until her retirement. Keith and Linda took many motorcycle trips. Linda was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed watching television shows and spending time with her dog, Sammy. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Friesen of Mankato; brother, Dennis (Barb) Wedge of Hutchinson; stepson, Robert Connelly of Lawton; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews and other relatives. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Minora Wedge; husband, Keith Holte and other relatives.
