Judith A. Entwistle, 78 of Point Pleasant Beach passed away unexpectedly at home on November 4th after a brief illness. Formerly of Clifton, New Jersey, Judie moved permanently to her favorite summertime destination in 1989 with her husband and only daughter. She spent several years as a bookkeeper for Timely Agency in Clifton before becoming a full-time homemaker. She enriched the lives of countless people with her service in a multitude of community groups. She was happy and proud to be a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter and later for her granddaughter. Judie was always the volunteer with the most creative and fun ideas for all the organizations that she worked with. An avid knitter, crocheter and crafter, she was always gifting treasures to friends and family. Judie was a fantastic cook, enjoyed reading and being entertained. She loved listening to stories from her family’s diverse work efforts and travels. She will be remembered by everyone whose lives she touched as one of the most generous, kind, and warm-hearted people you could have ever met, and the world was a much better place with her in it.
Daughter of the late Jennie and Joseph Mroz, Judie is survived by Joe, her most loving and devoted husband of 57 years and best friend of 60 years. How they met on a blind date and never left each other’s side was one of her favorite stories to tell. She is also survived by her only daughter, Suzanne and son-in-law Ray. As well as by her most beloved granddaughter Indigo and her husband Peter, and grandson Miles. If you were ever lucky enough to be her family or friend - she would climb every mountain, swim every ocean - just to be with you.
Friends can express their condolences Monday, November 10th from 4-7pm at Colonial Funeral Home, Brick NJ. Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 11th at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, Bay Head, NJ. Interment will be Wednesday, November 12th at 11am St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack, NJ.

I was Blessed to have Judie and Joe as my customers at my place of employment. Very very quickly Judie and Joe became much more than customers, they became my Beautiful Friends. There are a few specific words I will use to describe Judie- Warm, Sweet, Delightful, Precious, Generous, and Beautiful (Inside and Out). As I write these words I still cannot believe She is gone. This world has dimmed with her absence. I am truly grateful for every moment, laugh, and hug I exchanged with this human Angel. Judie and Joe are two of the most wonderful people I have ever known. My thoughts and prayers are with Joe and his family. I know how hard it will be for all of you without Judie right there with you. But the love Judie had for each of you will only grow in your hearts. I truly am so very sorry She is no longer here. I will miss her dearly and I will carry her love within me for the remainder of my life.
