Mark Jodoin Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Jodoin, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on September 27, 2024, at the age of 63. Known for his infectious laughter and radiant spirit, Mark was truly the life of every gathering. Born on December 29th, 1960, Mark grew up in Westfield where he cultivated a deep love for his family and friends. He was a devoted father to Allison, and his pride in her was evident in every story he shared. His dedication to his family knew no bounds; he was always there with a hammer and laugh, whichever you may need. As a brother, Mark was an unwavering pillar of strength. He cherished the bond he had with his siblings, creating countless memories that will forever be treasured. As an uncle, he embraced his role with enthusiasm, showering his nieces and nephews with love and the best adventures anyone could ask for. Mark had an extraordinary ability to make friends wherever he went. Whether at work, in his community, or just out and about, he touched the lives of many. His infectious enthusiasm inspired those around him to join in the fun, creating unforgettable moments filled with laughter and joy. Mark leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship that will be felt for generations. He is survived by his daughter, Allison; his siblings, Pam, Darrin, and Paulette; his many nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of friends who were fortunate enough to know him. In honor of Mark, we invite everyone to come together to celebrate his life and the incredible impact he had on all of us. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 4th at Toomey O'Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield at 2PM with calling hours from 12-2, where we can share our memories and stories, just as he would have wanted. Though he may no longer be with us, Mark's spirit will forever live on in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment, support one another, and embrace life with open arms. Rest in peace. You will be missed beyond measure.

Mark was always a great, humble man. I was on the WHS baseball team bus in the north end of Springfield when his lifelong nickname of "Mooner" was born. My condolences to the entire family.
