Michelle Lea Barnum, 50, of Damascus, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2025. She was born on May 7, 1974, in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Rickey and Dorothy “D.D.” Matthews. She is preceded in death by her father, Rickey Matthews, and a granddaughter, Paizlee Barnum.
Michelle graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1992, where she was in the marching band. She worked at Wilkinson’s Mall for 20 plus years, OK Corral for four years…she loved working and her co-workers! She loved reading, music, her church and her family. She was very passionate about her community and was a big supporter of all things Greenbrier and South Side.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years Ronney Barnum; her mother, “D.D.” Matthews; children, Rusty (Morgan) Barnum, Christina (Zeb) Golden, Rickey Barnum, and Whitney Barnum; grandchildren, Zayden and Zander Golden, Charlee and Hayden Barnum.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Damascus Road Cowboy Church with a burial following to Cadron Valley Cemetery.
