Evelyn Gustason Obituary

Born Dec. 31, 1945, to Gilford M. and Wilma Marie Hoist Curry in Dunnegan, Evelyn attended elementary school in Fair Play until her family moved to Springfield. She was a graduate of Central High School in Springfield, class of 1963. Evelyn was a homemaker during her children's younger years and then became a private home health caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Glenn Gustason, Hollister; brother Charles Curry, Springfield; and sisters Jean Simmons and Peggy Currie, Springfield.
Survivors include her sister Joyce Davolt (Max) of Fair Play; sister-in-law Carolyn Gustason McLaren (John) of Springdale, Arkansas; sister-in-law Bonnie Curry Huffman (Al) of Springfield; son, James Gustason of Springfield; daughter Aimee Gustason Butler (Michael Sr.) of Eureka; grandson Michael Butler Jr.; and granddaughter, Madisen Butler, both of Eureka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children on both sides of the family.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Plum Grove Cemetery in Humansville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Plum Grove Cemetery, ? Mr. Max Davolt, 405 West Sunrise, Fair Play, MO 65649.
