Elizabeth Robbins Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Robbins, 88, of DuBois, died Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Christ the King Manor.

Born on October 9, 1935 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Veronica (Tamachaski) Kolash, Sr.

On May 14, 1977, she married her husband of 45 years, Franklin W. "Frank" Robbins, Jr. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2022.

Betty retired from Riverside Penn Traffic Company and previous to that, she worked at Jackson China Company in Falls Creek for over 30 years.

Betty was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and attended St. Catherine of Siena. She enjoyed going to the YMCA, loved to go to country music, and loved to camp in Cook Forest with her husband Frank. Betty enjoyed people and loved socializing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her many friends.

She is survived by a brother (William F. Kolash, Jr. & his wife Shelli of DuBois, PA), a niece (Laura LaBrasca and her husband Rudy of DuBois, PA), a nephew (William Kolash and his wife Kris of DuBois, PA), two step nieces (Stephanie Dick and her husband Brian of Troutville, PA, and Stacie Gula of Sykesville, PA), three great nieces (Abby Russo, Cara Labrasca, and Dana Caraveo), three great nephews (Nate Kolash and Nick and Luke Labrasca) as well as a two step great nephews (Brenden and Mark Chesley).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 10 a.m. from Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish at St. Catherine of Siena with Fr. John Malthaner as celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
