Mary Spinner Obituary

November 6, 1942 - November 11, 2023 Mary (Glasser) Spinner, 81, of Costa Mesa passed away on November 11, 2023 while vacationing in Kauai with her daughters by her side. Mary was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from Dorsey High School in 1960. Shortly thereafter, she met her husband Karl and they married on December 22, 1962, and moved to Costa Mesa in 1965. They spent 56 years together until his death in 2019. Mary remained in her original Mesa Verde Upper Bird Street home until her passing. She took pride in her family, raising three daughters, Maureen, Susan and Laura. She was an avid reader, gardener, homemaker and USC football fan. When Mary wasn't playing tennis at Mesa Verde Country Club, you could find her cheering on her grandkids on the baseball and soccer fields or beside the swimming pool. Mary is survived by her 3 daughters Maureen Wauters (Mike), Sue Harrison (Ken), Laura Brooks (Todd) and 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Alexandra, Jake, Sean, Kate and Ryder.
