Andrew Bazzarone Obituary

Andrew "Andy" Bazzarone
Born: September 13, 1965 in Joliet, IL
Died: October 13, 2024 in Braidwood, IL
Andrew "Andy" Bazzarone, age 59, died unexpectedly in his Braidwood home on October 13, 2024. He was born in Joliet, IL on September 13, 1965 to his parents Richard Bazzarone and Karyn Bazzarone (nee Schmitz).
Andy was a man who sought to live a simple and quiet life. He was a tireless worker, who found admirable success as a proud Union Sheet Metal Worker. He was a member of Local #265 for over thirty-five years. As a result of his strong work ethic, he was able to build a comfortable life. He owned his own home in Braidwood, as well as two of his favorite vehicles. He loved his Jeeps, and took great care of them. In his recreational time, he enjoyed caring for his faithful companion Red. The two of them would often hop into one of his Jeeps and head out for a long day of fishing or hunting. The peace and solace that being surrounded by nature provided was something that he cherished. Although he and his daughter Arin were separated by distance for much of their relationship, she was never far from his heart. The two spoke often, sharing the thoughts and feelings with each other that they often felt that they could not share with anyone else. There is something indefinable about a relationship between a father and his daughter. It doesn't need to meet any expectations on the surface in order to be the most special of bonds. Andy was incredibly proud of Arin's dedication to our country through her military service, and even more proud of his two grandchildren Lily and Wyatt. Andy let those whom he loved know that he loved them, and he knew that he was loved in return. If there were a means of measuring the value of a life, then that fact alone would undoubtedly define a life well lived.
Andy is survived by his daughter Arin (Ethan) Bazzarone-LaBerge, his parents Richard and Karyn Bazzarone, his brother Daniel Bazzarone, his sister Ann (James) Vogrin, two grandchildren Lily and Wyatt LaBerge, a niece Julie Vogrin, and two nephews James and John Vogrin. Many extended family members and friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a Chapel Service scheduled for 12:30 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Rd. Joliet, IL 60435.
