Kenneth Roy Cox, 80, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at home in Hooksett, NH. He was born in Buffalo, NY on March 22, 1945, son of the late Harold W. and Eleanor Cox. He was the husband of Margo (Carter) Cox, whom he married in November 1969 in Boston, MA.
Ken was a proud member of the United States Air Force for four years and later graduated from Buffalo State College in 1974. He worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance for 32 years and retired in 2007.
Ken enjoyed singing with the Elliot Hospital Voluntaires and doing plays with a local group. He has been a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Manchester for 50 years, where he taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.
Ken is survived by his wife, Margo Cox of Hooksett; his children, T. Michelle Morgan of Alabama, Kristie Lyon of Candia, and Jah Varuna of California; his grandchildren, Zachary and Gabrielle Morgan and Connor and Devyn Lyon; his brothers, James and Bruce Cox; and a sister, Sandra Johnston. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Fohrd.
A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 1PM at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 335 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH.
